About Me

Hospitality & Culture

Growing up in Washington, DC, and influenced by my Latin and Middle Eastern heritage, I have developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant tapestry of multiple cultures. It has fueled my relentless curiosity and spirit for hospitality, further nurtured by working under a sommelier during my studies.

Learning from Strangers

My love for travel and connection has taken me to unexpected places, such as assisting Street Artists Gonzo and Globel in creating a piece for the annual Street Art Festival in Norway, interviewing an olive oil farmer on the outskirts of Porto, and joining fellow volunteers from 69 countries for Creative Morning’s week-long summit.

Say "No" to the Comfort Zone

Stepping outside my comfort zone is something I eagerly embrace, from moving to Mozambique after graduating from the College of Charleston for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to self-publishing a quarterly Gastronomy journal sharing interviews and experiences in the culinary world.

“Giselle is a true unicorn. Her ability to quickly learn and adapt to a high-paced startup environment and her stellar interpersonal communication skills made her a highly valued team member. [...] Giselle is someone that continually grows and serves as a thought leader.”
